Born Lady Maud Alexandra Victoria Georgina Bertha Duff.
Styled Princess of Great Britain and Ireland in 1905 by her grandfather King Edward VII. She ceased to use this title after her marriage.
Daughter of Alexander Duff, 1st Duke of Fife (1849-1912) and his wife Princess Louise, Princess Royal of the United Kingdom (1867-1931).
