Sir James Carnegie, 3rd Duke of Fife
Born Hon. James George Alexander Bannerman Carnegie, succeded his maternal aunt, Princess Alexandra, Duchess of Fife, as 3rd Duke of Fife in 1959. Succeded his father as 12th Earl of Southesk in 1992.
Son of Charles Carnegie, 11th Earl of Southesk (1893-1992) and his first wife Princess Maud of Fife (1893-1945)

Married: Perth, Scotland 11. Sep 1956 (div. 1966) Hon. Caroline Cecily Dewar (b. Milngavie, Scotland 12. Feb. 1934), daughter of Henry Dewar, 3rd Baron Forteviot (1906-1993) and his wife Cynthia Starkie. She married secondly Sir Richard Worsley in 1980.
