Alexander Arthur Alfonso David Maule Ramsay of Mar, known as "Sandy".

Son of Hon. Sir Alexander Ramsey (1881-1972), himself a younger son of  John Ramsay, 13th Earl of Dalhousie (1847-1887), and his wife Princess Patricia of Connaught (1886-1974)

Born: Clarence House, London 21. Dec 1919

Married: St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Fraserburgh, Scotland 16. Oct 1956 Flora Fraser, later 21st Lady Saltoun in her own right (1930), daughter of Alexander Fraser, 20th Lord Saltoun (1886-1979) and his wife Dorothy Welby.
