Pyotr III of Russia
Born Karl Peter Ulrich Prince of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp. Succeded his father as Duke of Holstein-Gottorp in 1739 and his aunt Yelisavyeta I as Emperor of All the Russians in 1762, assuming the name Pyotr III Fyodorovich. He was overthrown after six month in a conspiracy led by his wife, who succeeded him to the throne.

Aug 1745 Sophie (Yekaterina Alekseyevna) Princess of Anhalt-Zerbst, who ruled as Yekaterina II Empress of All the Russians from 1762-1796 (1729-1769), his second cousin, daughter of Christian August Fürst von Anhalt-Zerbst (1690-1747) and Johanna Elisabeth Princess of Holstein-Gottorp (1712-1760)
