Maria da Glória Joana Carlota Leopoldina Isidora da Cruz Francisca Xavier de Paula Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Luisa Gonzaga, Infanta of Portugal.
Succeeded as Queen Maria II of Portugal and the Algarves after her father’s abdication in 1826, but her uncle Miguel was proclaimed king in 1828. After the ensuing civil war she reigned again as queen from 1834.
Daughter of Pedro IV. King of Portugal (1798-1834) by his first wife Marie Leopoldine Archduchess of Austria (1797-1826).
