Named for her maternal grandmother, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, and her mother, Princess Alexandra of Kent.

Daughter of Hon. Sir Angus Ogilvy (1928-2004), himself a younger son of David Ogilvy, 12th Earl of Airlie (1893-1968), and his wife Princess Alexandra of Kent (1936)

Married: Richmond Park, Surrey 2. Feb 1990 (div. 1997) Paul Julian Mowatt (b. Hendon, Greater London  28. Nov 1962), son of David Mowatt and Catherine Hegarty.
