Caroline Rosalie Adelaide St. Jules

Illegitimate daughter of William Cavendish, 5th of Devonshire (1748-1811) by his mistress (and future second wife) Lady Elizabeth Foster (1759-1824), herself the daughter of Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol (1730-1803).

Born: Vietro, Italy 6. Aug 1785

Married: Devonshire House, London 17. May 1809 Hon. George Lamb (1784-1834), officially son of Sir Peniston Lamb, 1st Viscount Melbourne (1744-1828) by his wife Elizabeth Lamb, Viscountess Melbourne (1751-1818), but widely believed to be an illegitimate son of the Prince of Wales, later George IV. King of the United Kingdom (1762-1830).
