Emmanuel von Mensdorff-Pouilly

Emmanuel Comte de Pouilly, changed his name to Mensdorff-Pouilly during the French Revolution. Created Graf von Mensdorff-Pouilly by Emperor Franz I. of Austria in 1818.

Son of Albert-Louis Baron de Pouilly, Comte de Roussy (1731-1795) and Marie-Antoinette de Custine (1746-1800).

Born : Pouilly, France 24. Jan 1777

Married : Coburg 23. Feb 1804 Sophie, Princess of Saxe-Coburg and Saalfeld (1778-1835), daughter of Franz, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Saalfeld (1750-1806) by his second wife Auguste Gräfin Reuß zu Ebersdorf (1757-1831).
