Frederick FitzClarence
Born Frederick FitzClarence, called “Freddles” by his family. He was granted the rank of a marquess’ son in 1831 after his father ascended to the throne.
Illegitimate son of Prince William, Duke of Gloucester, the future King William IV. of the United Kingdom (1765-1837) and the actress Dorothea Bland, called Mrs. Jordan (1761-1815)

Married: Kent House, Knightsbridge 19. May 1821 Lady Augusta Boyle (1801-1876), daughter of George Boyle, 4th Earl of Glasgow (1765-1843) and his wife Lady Augusta Hay (d. 1822), herself a daughter of James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll (1725-1778)
