(London 21. Dec 1785 George, Prince of Wales (1762-1830). The marriage was in contravention of the Royal Marriage Act ans was therefore considered legally void ab initio. Nevertheless Mrs. Fitzherbert always considered herself being married to the Prince of Wales and Pope Pius VII declared the marriage valid.)
