Léopold of Belgium
Born Léopold Ferdinand Élie Victor Albert Marie, Prince of Belgium, Comte de Heinaut; became Duc de Brabant in 1865, when his father ascended tot he Belgian throne.
Named for his paternal grandfather, King Leopold I of the Belgians, and his father's cousins Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
Son of Léopold II. King of the Belgians (1835-1909) and his wife Marie Henriette Archduchess of Austria (1836-1902).
