Born Baudouin Albert Charles Léopold Axel Marie Gustave, Prince of Belgium, Comte d’Heinault; styled Duc de Brabant in 1934; succeeded as King of the Belgians after his father’s abdication in 1950.
Son of Léopold III King of the Belgians (1901-1983) by his first wife Astrid Princess of Sweden (1905-1935).
